I am in love with this piece. Why? Mostly because it's a beautiful, magical scene you created for us. But it's also blue, very blue.
My favorite part of this, by far, is how you blended the fairy's dress with the mist. It's a perfect transition.
The light is very strong, but it adds to the scene. However, it seems a little much on the model. For example, the details of her profile seem to have been lost a little, and her torso appears to be fading into the background. If the lighting effects were lowered a bit on her, we'd be able to see more of her. Also, there is an odd spot of shadow underneath her hand that takes away from the flow of this manip. Lastly, the vines that border the piece are a little bright given their distance from the light source; they're just a tad distracting.
I greatly enjoyed taking in every little piece of this manip. It's one where you can easily come up with a story to give it some life (to me she's opening a portal to get ready to travel to another stunning world). You did some great work.
What can I say about this picture, except for wow and stunning. I would never have guessed that it was a photo manipulation picture. It looks like it has been done digitally or heck it would even pass as a real painting; at least to me it would.
I myself don't do photo manipulations because I don't know how and because it sounds like it's hard to; which is why when I find a picture that has been manipulated I can appreciate what the artist went through to get it done perfectly.
I love fantasy artwork and those delicate fairy or pixie(whichever you prefer) wings look so real. The picture itself looks real. As if you could reach out and touch it.
So, yes I'll be adding your picture to my favorites.
